This section lists the common keyboard operations and shortcut keys in
Windows 95.

Key: CURSOR LEFT
Description: Left one unit. (E.g. character.)
CONTROL+Key: Left one proportionally larger unit. (E.g. word.)
 
Key: CURSOR RIGHT
Description: Right one unit. (E.g. character.)
CONTROL+Key: Right one proportionally larger unit. (E.g. word.)
 
Key: CURSOR UP
Description: Up one unit. (E.g. line.)
CONTROL+Key: Up one proportionally larger unit. (E.g. paragraph.)
 
Key: CURSOR DOWN
Description: Down one unit. (E.g. line.)
CONTROL+Key: Down one proportionally larger unit. (E.g. paragraph.)
 
Key: HOME
Description: To the beginning of the line.
CONTROL+Key: To the beginning of the data (E.g. document)
 
Key: END
Description: To the end of the line.
CONTROL+Key: To the end of the data (E.g. document).
 
Key: PAGE UP
Description: Up one screenful.
CONTROL+Key: Up one proportionally larger unit. (E.g. section.)
 
Key: PAGE DOWN
Description: Down one screenful.
CONTROL+Key: Down one proportionally larger unit. (E.g. section.)
 
Key: TAB
Description: Next field.
CONTROL+Key: To next tab position (in property sheets, next sheet)
 
Key: SHIFT+TAB
Description: Previous field.
CONTROL+Key: To previous tab position (in property sheets, previous sheet)

ALT+TAB                   Switch to next application or primary window.
SHIFT+ALT+TAB             Switch to previous application or primary window.
ALT+ESCAPE                Display next window.
SHIFT+ALT+ESCAPE          Display previous window.
ALT+SPACEBAR              Display Control-menu.
ALT+HYPHEN                Display Document-menu.
ALT+ENTER                 Display property sheet for current selection.
CONTROL+F4                Close document window.
ALT+F4                    Close window (or application).
ALT+PRINT SCREEN          Capture active window image to the Clipboard.
PRINT SCREEN              Capture desktop image to the Clipboard.
CONTROL+ESCAPE            Activate Start button.
 
Note:  Avoid assigning these keys to application shortcuts and functions
other than those listed.
